Right in the centre of the old part of l’Escala, just a few meters from the square Víctor Català, and from the beach in town, also known as Platja de les Barques, we find a typical house, originally from the fifties decade (1940) when in l’Escala the people who lived there lived basically from fishing.
This magnificent house of 84 m2 today it is totally renewed, it maintains all the essence of a fisherman’s house but in modern. L’Escala, is one of the seaside towns of Costa Brava and its totally focused on tourism and is used to see and live with all different nationalities and cultures. All walls have been torn till finding the natural Stone, both from the inside as the outside. All the enclosures (doors and Windows) are made of Wood with double glazing and air chamber, it disposes of a heat and cold pump in every room.
As all the fisherman’s houses it is distributed in three floors.
The ground floor is composed of a living and dining room with an open kitchen, which is fully equipped, the sealing is made up of beams and vaults.
The first floor is made by a double room and a bathroom, the sealing is of wooden beams.
The second floor has a double room with access to a fantastic terrace that has views of the market town.
